About The Artist

image Domenick Creaco has spent over 60 years honing his craft, entering photography in his pre-teen years. Mr. Creaco was self taught in photography prior to his secondary school education. He contined practicing and studying photograpy from his early years and earned a degree in Photographic Sciences and Technology at the State University of New York.

Mr. Creaco has traveled extensively for the last 45 years in the United States and Caribbean Nations photographing wildlife, nature and landscapes. Mr. Creaco brings a unique view to his photographs that is a reflection of his feelings for his subjects.

Domenick Creaco has been recognized for his work in several juried venues, including the Phtotgraphic Society of America (PSA) image awards, the New england Camera Club Council (NECCC) image awards, the Photographic Federation of Long Island (PFLI) Hall of Fame and several Leonard Victor awards. He has also gained recognition for his photography on several Internet sites including, the Digital Photography Review (Challenges), Photocrowd image submissions and the Imaging Resource (Photo of the Day).

Mr. Creaco has majored in Photography in High School, earned degrees in Photographic Sciences and Technology (AAS SUNY Farmingdale), Electrical Engineering (BE-Electrical Engineering CCNY) and Electronic and Computer Engineering (MSEE NYU). This education has enhanced his ability to understand and master the analog and modern digital realms of photography.
